Continuing Employment Letter

A continuing employment letter is issued to an employee who has successfully completed their probationary period of employment. The letter confirms that the employee’s performance during the probationary period has met the employer’s expectations.

These expectations could include satisfying security requirements such as police checks, successfully completed any required training, and demonstrating the employers values and behaviours.

Confirmation of continuing employment beyond the end of probation should be provided to the employee in writing before expiry of the probationary period by the employer.
