Values and Behaviours

Your company may not have developed any shared values, widely communicated the values or they simply may not be well understood. We can build on the values journey you’ve started by working with you to determine the behaviours that demonstrate the values in action.

In this workshop we discuss personal and organisational values, why they are important, how shared values form the basis of organisational culture. We define behaviours and set out what the company expect from employees and what employees can expect from the company.

Learning objectives:

  • identify associated ‘above the line’ words for inclusion in behaviour statements;
  • determine behaviours that best demonstrate the values being enacted;

Performance Review and Development

Dissatisfaction with performance appraisals is pervasive. They are seen as time-consuming, demotivating, inaccurate, biased, and unfair. You can hear managers groan as soon as they are reminded it is time for performance reviews.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to set up a values based performance review process in a way that doesn’t leave people feeling confused or unvalued and is an effective two-way transfer of information and descriptive feedback about behaviours and outcomes.
